MAKE IT MONDAY CHALLENGE

TEXTURE KISSING

Lizzie is up this week and she is showing us a way to use the Kissing Technique to add texture to our stamped images.  You can check out her video HERE and join in the fun.

I used PTI's Songbirds solid stamps to try this technique.  Lizzie was right about letting the ink dry a bit and using lighter colors...my blue bird has clearly been 'kissed' and the orange one is a little less clear.  My "Musical Score" wood block stamp is the impression on both birds. The Scalloped panel die is from Spellbinders stamped with brown inked wood grain and the leafy EF on the Dove Grey base card is Sissix.  That sheer ribbon is two shades of blue and green.

  2. Very nice, Helen! Love the Woodgrain texture on Aqua and that embossed leaves panel. Both complement the birds so well, as does the blue-green ribbon. Nice impression on the birds. :)
